A few short words about the tools I have found and bought in 2022.
Perhaps my best purchase of the year. Spare 20 minutes, jump on the bike and go for a ride around the neighbourhood. My boy always asks for more bike rides. I got the base model without the handle bar.
This year I finally bought myself a large pair of multigrips. The kind of expensive tool you dont need everyday but when you do it's the only thing for the job. They are NWS which I hadnt heard of before but they have the 'Made in Germany' branding so they must be good (right?!). The model I got was the 400mm which have an 100mm opening. I used these for tightening plumbing fittings and loosening big bolts. I got mine from Bunnings.
Another one of those specialty tools. A set of 5 low profile screw drivers. I used these to adjust my kitchen doors where the space between the sink and the hinge is just big enough for one of these to squeeze in.
After years of hearing about the good old days of RSS reading I finally am giving it a go. A lot of the value I get from a sites like twitter and hackernews is that I can see interesting articles when people post them. This removes one layer so I can go directly to the source. It doesnt have discovery built in, but I think thats ok. Available here
In an effort to reduce using my phone as my watch I bought the F91W-1. They are cheap, reliable and I think look good.
Here is where it gets fun, you can swap out the board with this replacement and add hardware and/or write your own software. Fingers crossed I get to this project in 2023.
